How the Matching Works
Students come to Get CDL Texas through organic search, looking for information about training, costs, requirements, and career paths. When they are ready to take the next step, they fill out a short form. Under the pilot, inquiries from a partner’s agreed service area would be matched to that partner by ZIP code, program interest, and timeline.
Every partner school must be listed on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. We verify this before accepting any partner. We tell our students to verify school credentials before enrolling — and we hold ourselves to the same standard. If your school is not on the TPR, we cannot partner with you.
What a Lead Record Would Include
This is the lead record format we are building for the pilot — the goal is complete records rather than name-only leads. The exact fields delivered are confirmed with each partner during pilot setup, before any lead is sent.
Potential Lead Fields
- First name
- Email address (validated format)
- ZIP code (Texas-verified)
- Metro region (auto-assigned from ZIP)
- Start timeframe (ASAP / 1–2 months / 3+ months / researching)
- Source URL (which page they came from)
- Submission timestamp
- Route eligibility and delivery priority (per the written pilot rules)
Intent Fields (When Provided)
- CDL class interest (Class A / Class B / Not Sure)
- Endorsement interest (Hazmat/Tanker, Passenger/School Bus, etc.)
- Funding situation (Veteran/GI Bill, WIOA, Payment Plan, etc.)
- Schedule preference (Evenings / Weekends / Full-time)
- Route type preference (Local / Regional / OTR)
- Program interest (captured from specific content pages)

Proposed Lead-Qualification Framework
This is the qualification framework we are building for the pilot — shown here so you can see how we intend to define a billable lead. It is a proposed framework, not a description of a live filtering system. Exact qualification rules and the billable-lead definition are agreed with each pilot partner in writing before any lead is delivered or charged.
Illustrative point values. The signals and points below show how the proposed framework would weigh intent — they are not a live scoring system, and final values are agreed with each pilot partner.
| Signal | Points (Illustrative) | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Valid email address | +15 | Confirms contactable prospect |
| Texas ZIP code | +20 | Confirms in-market prospect |
| Start timeline: ASAP | +30 | Strongest enrollment intent signal |
| Start timeline: 1–2 months | +25 | Near-term intent |
| Class A CDL interest | +15 | Higher-value training program interest |
| Valid phone number | +5 | Confirms second contact channel |
Eligibility & Delivery Priority
Under the pilot model, every inquiry is first checked for route eligibility against the qualification rules we agree with you in writing — things like a valid Texas ZIP in your service area, valid contact details, and a plausible payment path. An inquiry that does not pass those rules is not delivered and never billed. Among eligible inquiries, a score is used only to order delivery priority — it does not create paid "tiers".
Under the pilot agreement, an inquiry is billable only when it passes the written qualification rules we agree on together AND is actually delivered to you. If a delivered inquiry is clearly invalid, we review and credit it. Nothing is delivered or billed until this framework is live and verified with you.
What We Require From Partners
We tell every student on our site to verify school credentials before enrolling. We hold our partner schools to the same standard. These are the requirements for joining our network.
Why Texas CDL Schools Use Get CDL Texas
Most lead sources send cold traffic, recycled lists, or shared leads from students who never heard of your school. Get CDL Texas is different because the leads start with the student.
Simple Per-Lead Pricing
Proposed pilot pricing — finalized with each pilot partner before activation. No setup fees. No monthly retainer. No long-term contracts. You pay only for leads that meet the qualification definition we agree on.
- No setup fee
- No monthly minimum
- No charge for submissions outside the agreed lead definition
- Student contact data included (name, email, ZIP)
- Intent fields when captured (class, timeline, funding)
- Qualification details included with every delivery
- Fast email delivery once your pilot is activated
- Geographic routing by Texas metro / ZIP
The $50 figure is proposed pilot pricing, not a locked rate — final pricing, the billable-lead definition, and billing rules are set in your pilot agreement before any lead is delivered. Volume pricing negotiable.
